I believe the world can always use more light.

I feel there is something awe-inspiring about the way the handmade papers, branches and light are coming together in the illuminary light sculptures. They seem to have a unique effect on people, inspiring  a calm, peaceful state of love and joy. As I create the light sculptures, I keep my mind mostly disengaged while the character of each lamp appears in its own time. All of my sculptures are lovingly created without time constraints and are never rushed.

Illuminaries contribute beautifully to healing environments, and were featured in treatment rooms of the Durango Cancer Center.  They add soft ambient light to massage therapy and yoga rooms, as well as chiropractic offices and all healing centers. 

I also love creating bronze sculptures that flow with curves and fluid lines.  Each bronze is a  limited edition, and all light sculptures are one of a kind. 

I play with the light and shadows of each piece, as I think our shadows make everything much more rich, complex and beautiful.
